And HOLY MOLY, did she ever rock that dress.
I met up again with Sarah and Bobby when they came back from their honeymoon. She dolled up and put that stunner of a dress back on and we hit downtown Boston one late summer evening.
The BEST part of a Rock the Dress session (and Sarah, please chime in here if you have something to add!!) is that there is NO pressure. No guests waiting, no reception coordinator giving you a timing countdown, no fretting that there might be a little dirt on the dress. No, siree, it was party time.
you just know it’s going to be good when the session starts in a PARKING GARAGE. And you are going to say that we’re nuts, but trust me here, the light can be really sweet in those places. We walked down Comm Ave and into the Public Garden, stopping where we wanted. We even tried to get some jugglers into the photos, but they said they were just learning, and it would be more “dropping” than “juggling”, but we tried. ;)
Sarah and Bobby were once again cool and relaxed in front of the camera, as people cheered and clapped and duck boats quacked at them. We even got yelled at inside Filene’s Basement, but we didn’t care. That’s how we roll.
Of all of the add-ons to a wedding package, THIS is the best one. What bride doesn’t want to put on their dress again?? And if you, like Sarah and Bobby, got married in one beautiful location (like Newport) but your heart lies in another (like Boston), then this is ideal! THINK of the possibilities! Big Red Sox Fans? How about a Rock the Dress at Fenway? Decide on a spring wedding even though autumn is your most favorite? Let’s rock it out in October at a barn. The possibilities are absolutely endless, and this is another way your personality can really shine through in photographs!
And now, a little eye candy–Sarah and Bobby-style:
Favorite favorite favorite, maybe ever:
